The Player Promise
The rules, written down
Ads pay for Zorp. These are the rules we hold them to.
- Ads never interrupt play. If you are in the middle of something, the screen is yours.
- Interstitials only appear at natural breaks, like the end of a level, and they are capped. Most breaks have no ad at all.
- Clicking around is always safe. Menus and browsing never trigger ads.
- "No thanks" means no thanks. Decline an ad offer and the game carries on, with no penalty and no sneaky fallback ad.
- Rewarded ads are always your choice, and the reward is stated before you watch.
- Your progress saves without an account.
- If leaderboards arrive, spending will never buy a spot.
That is the whole promise. If a Zorp game ever breaks one of these, tell us. A broken promise is a bug, and we fix bugs.
The Signal
One email a week.
The new game, plus the occasional note from the studio. When you are done, one click ends it. We never sell the list.
